Rest. Dedicate at least 33.333% of your time to rest. As it's defined by Merriam-Webster, rest is 1. repose, sleep; specifically : a bodily state characterized by minimal functional and metabolic activities. 2. a : freedom from activity or labor . Therefore, you should free yourself from labor at least 33.333% of the time.
By Western standards, we 've largely become like mice in a wheel; work harder / earn more money / buy more stuff / keep the cycle going
Jump out of the wheel! Take time to regenerate. Anything done by the light of the moon should feel splendid!

Be Strong and courageous. Do the things that scare you. Apply for the job, apply for the promotion, ask the girl out on a date, but most importantly, BE YOU.
Only you can be YOU; that's the beauty of life.
There are no replicas of your personality or your purpose. So, go and claim your day and existence with victory, because you are exactly where you are meant to be.
The Memo - 08/02/2026:
The Big Break Room is still relatively new at having a recognized and respected internet presence. In fact, we're still adding to our cozy little corner of the internet. Nevertheless, we've been told that we're on to something! As fellow workers, we fully understand the value of time, energy, and money. All of these are elements that are required from us whenever we decide to put forth effort toward the promotion of whatever freelance or entrepreneurial endeavor we may have. Yet, when we work full time, where do we have much of those things to spare (time/ energy/ money)? This is why The Big Break Room is now available to us all. It's reminiscent of the days when we could pin our news on the cork board in the break room and know that at the very least, our coworkers might become our greatest patrons and supporters. Let's bring back those times. Of course, as it is in other break rooms, conversation and participation are both free and encouraged. Also as it is in other break rooms, it costs to be a vendor. That said, if you have a product or a service to be placed in the vending machine, the monthly cost is $10. It's far more convenient than spending lots of time and energy on maintaining your own e-commerce website at $70 per month. It's simple and beneficial. Rarely do we find anything that's simple plus beneficial. But, workers typically know what other workers need. Ultimately, we just need a break!
Enjoy The Big Break Room. And sincerely, enjoy your break. In fact, enjoy your Big Break. Best yet, enjoy your breakthrough!
